I work at an airport and we do snow removal. I am stuck in a plow or a snow sweeper but having to get out and clean my vehicle and step in snow banks is not much fun. These boots are better than the boots given to me by the company I work for.

There is plenty of room for warm, bulky socks. Hopefully they will be fine for snoeshoeing and walking in the snow.

The snow is deep along the beach and these boots are perfect with the gator closure at the top of the laces. They are much lighter than my old boots and makes walking a pleasure. My feet stay warm and comfortable. Very breatheable boots.

By BroncoGurl from Idaho on 01/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish and good looking, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are great! Lightweight, good traction, and waterproof. These boots are easy to get on and fit great. Great for snowy days and hiking around in cold/winter conditions. My favorite thing about these boots is that for a pair of "Sorels," they actually look stylish, and not like a pair of clunky/waterproof boy boots.
By massagemom from chicago, il on 01/27/2009 Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Not Comfortable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I won't be getting any Sorels anymore. These are the umpteenth Sorels that I've tried and the brand just doesn't fit me right. I got these on, they didn't feel all that great on. When my foot went in, I slid all the way to the front. My toes were bumping into the front but I could feel room behind my heel. Then I had a heck of a time getting them off.
