By gypsea from Bellevue WA on 11/08/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I liked these the minute I opened the box! Have not tested them in bad weather. They are a little difficult to get on, as they don't unlace. Once you get them on, they are very comfortable. I bought them for snowshoeing after reading other reviews here.
lightweight, warm and snug By shoozy from colorado on 11/08/2008 Pros: Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are light, and not as bulky as many of the other boots out there. I wanted a boot that didn't have zippers that wouldn't stay up. These are more practical than stylish, but they keep out the cold and snow like a charm.
By forestgirrl from seattle washington on 11/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am extremely happy with these boots. They are VERY light and comfortable. They are a bit more difficult to get on and off then regular lace up boots or slip on boots, but I would much rather have the comfort of these.....I even bought my mom a pair!!
Worth it at this price; warm and comfy By CasualQueen from Southwest Michigan on 10/26/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just got these after much comparison and noticing the previous positive reviews. I haven't had a chance to test them in snow yet; however, I wore them for a few hours and they are indeed warm without being stifling. They're also quite comfortable; many other boots I've tried which are well-insulated are tight, or the lining bunches up on the sides, the footbed is hard, etc.
They are flexible without being wobbly, and firm without being stiff. About the only thing I found to be less than ideal is that it's a bit complicated to put them on, especially if trying to put the pant leg inside. The laces make them easy to tighten up to fit, but because there is no actual opening (with a tongue), they don't stretch enough to make a comfortable opening.
On the flip side, that makes the boot even better in terms of being waterproof, so I'll be fair and not complain too much. They are quite lightweight, which is a big plus for extended use. All in all, a very good deal!

You know as soon as you put them on that they're worth there weight in gold! Very light weight and they look great with casual wear. Some have mentioned they are hard to get into but I've had no problems even with a thick sock.
By The mom chick from IRON MOUNTAIN, MICHIGAN (the UP) on 12/11/2007 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So far I haven't had a whole lot of need to use them, but we did go out in the woods for a Christmas tree and they were high enough to keep out the snow. I also used them to decorate an outdoor tree right after an 9" snowfall and they kept my feet warm and dry.
