By Pranc'n though the Powder! from U.P. of MI on 11/16/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where snow and frigid temps are no strangers (For those who don't know where this is, think "Canada"). I am not a sports enthusiast, but needed a pair of boots to protect me from the cold and snow as I battle clearing our drives, walks, roofs etc from them. I have been looking for a pair of winter boots that give me comfort, versatility and warmth. These boots fit the bill hands down. They are not rated for lengthy outings in extreme temps and are water "resistant" -vs- "proof", but more than meet my need when I enter out into the winter elements of the north. They are the most comfortable pair of boots I've tried, especially for the $$$. You can't go wrong!

By Angie on skis from Leavenworth, WA on 11/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Warm Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Haven't had a chance to wear them in really cold, snowy weather, but they are super comfortable and warm and the insides are soft for sock-less wearing in a pinch. I wear 8.5 - 9 normally, I ordered 9.5. I might have been able to get away with a 9.

Can't wait to use these in the snow! By Mindi, the teacher with recess duty from Chicago, IL on 11/09/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have yet to use these in the snow, although, November in Chicago could yield some 'funky' weather (it was 75 degrees the other day?!) So far, I've tried these on around the house- they are comfortable, and I'm sure will prove warm and perfect for snow and standing out on the playground. (I'll write more if not!) I ordered a half size larger, according to some other reviews, and will surely have enough toe room with thicker socks.

By Super Grammy from Lawrence, KS on 11/07/2008 Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Heavy, Not Comfortable Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The boot ran really a whole size to size and a half large. The toe box and width were really great for my duck feet. The tongue and lacing design did not work well together. The tongue, especially at the top interfered with lacing. It's a heavy boot and the top of the boot dug into the back of my leg.
