I would not recommend this boot. By Jan who is needing boots. from St Louis MO on 01/12/2009 Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Heavy Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the hardest boot ever to get on, and once
you have them on, getting them zipped up is another thing. I am a small person but they will
not zip all the way up, not enough room at top of
boot. They also are very heavy, I would not go for a walk in these boots, they would wear you out. Sorry, but I am looking for a different boot, one I can wear.

BUT the zippers also have a tendency to ease down and so sometimes I have to keep re-zipping myself. Otherwise this is a PERFECT boot.

Too bad they were too tight around the calf. ( like another on here, my calves aren't that big. I don't know if they would have loosened up with wearing... I returned and bought some Sorels.

This boot works with warmth and easy to use.
My only problem is that when zipped, the boots are tight around my ankles and I do not have big calves. I will keep the boots and hope that the fabric gives over time and usage. The shoe part is very comfortable and warm.
By Honest Abe from Hastings, NY on 12/14/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Runs a size smaller, Runs a size smaller best Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I usually have difficulty keeping my feet warm. These boots keep my feet toasty warm! But they do run small so would advise to order a full size larger. The zipper does not always stay up on these boots.
