By Living in the Snow from Sault Ste. Marie, MI on 12/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good for tromping around; boots are light enough that legs don't fatigue running errands. The boots zip up - took a while to get used to the loose fit around the ankle (slides around a bit). Haven't tried them yet for long periods of standing in the cold - they seem warm enough so hope they will do the job. A bit thick in the sole for driving - can't feel the pedals very well.
very warm boots great value By Nicole horse trainer from Madison, WI on 12/06/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: the only thing I don't like about theses boots is that the zipper never stays up. It falls down all the time. I still have to figure out a way to fasen it up with something. other wise they are great boots that really keep your feet warm.
Nice boots, but too tight at top By SkwerlyOne from Orange County, CA on 12/06/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are attractive, extremely well made, durable boots. I wanted a zipper close because I thought it would be easier & quicker than laces. It is, but my calves are too large & the top of the boots cuts into me. However, contrary to what some other reviews say, the zippers absolutely stay up. No problem at all. I'm very sad to have to return these. )c:
