By Mikey from Clermont, Florida on 01/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for a cold weather waterproof boot that would keep my feet warm during a winter trip to Jackson, WY/Yellowstone. Lots of cross country skiing and snowshoeing..... boot fits true to size, feels comfortable. Not as heavy or bulky as I thought they would be for the temperature rating and amount of insulation. Pleasantly surprised when I received these. I would buy again : )

By Anna's mom from Eau Claire, WI on 12/31/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Quite warm! These are my 3rd pair of Columbia bugaboots. The last pair are 10 years old! That should tell you how well they last. These have extra insulation and are a little tight to get into with boot socks on, but I haven't gotten them worked in yet. I expect they will last as well as my last pair.
I would recommend this product. By Mona from Buffalo, NY on 12/11/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I found these boots to be very comforable, warm and kept my feet dry.
hard, stiff, and uncomfortable By Lisa from Cleveland Heights, OH on 12/11/2008 Pros: Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Heavy, Not Comfortable, Too stiff Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Although they would be warm and waterproof, these boots are too uncomfortable to consider for hiking in the snow. They are hard, inflexible, and very uncomfortable around the shins and ankles. I bought a pair of these a few years ago and they never broke in adequately. I had hoped Columbia would have improved them by now, and I'm glad I found boots by another company that are much better for me.
By Down on the Farm from Pickaway, WV on 12/10/2008 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are warm and comfortable (although they did chafe my ankles a bit on a 45-minute walk over snowy, steep terrain) and overall an excellent winter boot for working outside on the farm and light winter hiking. They replace my 5-year-old Bugaboos that are still in good shape after daily winter use.
