I would buy this product again. By E.B.T. from Pacifica, Ca. on 03/24/2008 Pros: Breathable, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Looks very cute. Kept my feet warm and dry while playing in the snow. I just wish it was a little less stiff...maybe it needs to be broke-in a couple more times? I also wish they came in 1/2 sizes.
By S.A.V. from Minnesota on 03/13/2008 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Boots are a little taller and stiffer than I'm used to, however I'll soon break them in on my daily walks with the dogs in all kinds of winter weather. The coldest it's been was -20F. I wore a pair of wool socks and my feet were toasty warm.
It's a shame it's a closeout By Rebecca from Balto., Md on 03/10/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for my daughter to replace a boot she grew out of used for cold weather adventures. I love to dress her up and these did the job of both keeping her feet warm and looking awesome with her ski attire. It's a shame they are not available in my size. Wish they weren't closing them out.
Awesome wateproof winter boots By OrchestraLaugh from Iowa on 03/05/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Waterproof Best Uses: Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was concerned about stiffness, given other's reviews -- psh. They were a teensy bit stiff, out of the box, and loosened up quickly with a day around the house, anyways. No friction spots, for me. Not quite as warm as I'd thought they'd be, just bumming around indoors, though my feet haven't been cold out-of-doors in them, which is the crucial thing, I suppose. My size 8 is accurate, with a small, thoughtful allowance (mostly vertical) for a not-bulky pair of wool socks (or two pairs of regular office-wear socks).
Very waterproof -- as I found when my foot went straight DOWN through what I'd thought was solid ice. Nice and dry through that, and I didn't fall, either, though my other foot was on ice, too. Wonderful!
By terri the buyer from eliot, maine on 03/03/2008 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Cons: hard, no half sizes, Not Comfortable Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The fit was too small, I need a half size which they don't come in.
By willy the walker from boston, ma on 03/01/2008 Pros: Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Not Comfortable Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these boots for my girl friend and while they are well made they were very uncomfortable for her. The ridges inside the boot pressed against the ankle bones. Had to return them. they were also very stiff.
Well made, warm and waterproof By Fotografy Girl from Chicago, IL on 02/28/2008 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are made well, look great, and keep my feet warm and dry. They are however a bit uncomfortable around the inside top of the boot even though they're roomy in that area they rub my calves and make them sore after wearing them a few hours. I'm hoping they become less rigid and begin to relax along that area as I wear them more. Other than that, they're great! This winter in Chicago (2007-08) has been a great test drive for them and my feet have not once gotten wet or etc. They are true to size as well.
By ALI THE MOM from AUBURN, MAINE on 12/31/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: THE WEBSITE SAID TO ORDER 1/2 SIZE SMALLER, SO I ORDERED MY NORMAL SHOE SIZE (I WOULD HAVE ORDERED A LITTER BIIGER SIZE IN A BOOT). THEY ARE TOO SHORT TO WEAR COMFORTABLY SO THEY'RE GOING BACK. TOO BAD BECAUSE THEY'RE REALLY NICE, AND NOW SOLD OUT!

They are true to size. A great boot! No need for thick socks!
