It is very comfortable and looks great. At first, I thought it was odd that you had to bunch up the nylon fabric to adjust the chin strap, but the fabric is soft and is comfortable despite the gathers. This helmet doesn't come down as far in the back as some of the racing-style helmets. High risk skiers may want something that wraps around the head more.

If you have never worn a helmet before it is a little different at 1st.
By R. D. the carver from Vashon, WA on 03/12/2009 Pros: Great Peripheral Vision, Protective, Stylish Cons: Difficult to Adjust, Not Well Ventilated Best Uses: Half Pipe, Park, Skiing, Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fits well but the earflaps are spring-loaded and a bit tight against my ears. Looks cooler than most helmets.

Good performer - not your average look By Rocket Ron from NYS Adirondacks on 03/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Peripheral Vision, Headphone Compatible, Protective, Stylish Best Uses: Downhill, Half Pipe, Park, Skiing, Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Made this helmet a little more comfortable and improved fit with a few foam strips strategically placed inside. This also caused the helmet to vent very well. I love the looks.
By JB from Alexandria, VA on 03/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easily Adjustable, Great Peripheral Vision, Headphone Compatible, Protective, Stylish Best Uses: Downhill, Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This helmet has a great look. The leather has a nice rich feel to it. I own a Giro Nine helmet as well. For the Giro Nine, I actually wear a size M and I had originally bought an M for my Bad Lieutenant and it was too big so i returned it for a small and it felt just fine. I found online a set of Skullcandy wired tune ups for $15 and now I have audio. I am very happy with my purchase.
By Dave from Northern Sierra Navada on 02/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Protective, Stylish Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a super cool looking helmet. It has this WWII Third Reich look about it which just makes you want to go big. The white leather wrap is a great 'blank canvas' for you to decorate however you wish. I'm thinking about getting two of these!
By Yianni from Tuxedo Park, NY on 02/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Peripheral Vision, Headphone Compatible, Protective, Stylish Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I always liked the style of the Bad Lieutenant and when I saw it here I jumped on it. I was worried about the durability of white leather, it has held up surprisingly well. On a recent trip to Idaho I spent two days chasing powder in the trees and the leather has no noticable marks after having deflected some serious branches. Great helmet for the money. Everyone is shocked when I tell them how little I paid for it!
Good helmet for a great price By Florida girl from Twin Falls, ID on 02/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easily Adjustable, Protective Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The medium fit well once I took out the extra padding. In other brands I would have worn a large, but would have been too loose.
