As light as a bicycle helmet By Bald-man from Michigan on 02/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Protective, Stylish, Well Ventilated Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nicely crafted noggin protector, very light weight with an accompanying sense of durability. Among the best looking helmets. On very cold, windy days, I felt a little drafty from the helmet ports - despite being closed. There are adjustable port openings in the very top of the helmet, and others which are kept closed with foam plugs - none of thse keep out the cold very well on a windy day. Must wear an inner cap or other thin head cover underneath for protection. My solution would be better, longer depth plugs for the inside, including an auxiliary deeper plug in addition to the adjustable ones. In fairness, I'm bald-headed, however, am probably not the only bald-headed skier in the land.

By Ice Castanza from Colorado Springs, CO on 02/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Well Ventilated Cons: Difficult to Adjust, Old Model-no adjustment Best Uses: Downhill, Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great product but it is an older model so it doesn't have the adjustment on the back (I like this model better b/c of that). The only other complaint it that b/c it is an the '07 model it doesn't work with the new skull candy headphones.
By Kinky Kaver from Frederick, MD on 02/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easily Adjustable, Headphone Compatible, Lightweight, Protective, Stylish, Well Ventilated Best Uses: Downhill, Skiing Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been skiing for 20+ years and this is my first helmet. Even though this is a dated model, the fit was perfect right out of the box. The venting system works great and allowed me to change it during my day to vent more as the temps rose. It di not feel heavy nor did it limit any movement. It fit well with my goggles. A grat product at a great price.

The Giro Fuse is everything that I was looking for in a snowboarding/skiing helmet. The fit is great, venting is easily adjustable and quick, light, padding is very comfortable, vision is unobstructed, and provides a very good fit with goggles (Oakley). I would definitely buy this helmet again, and would recommend to my snowboarding friends! Great price [...]
Light weight and vrey comfortable By Rich and Patty from San Diego, CA on 01/24/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Peripheral Vision, Lightweight, Protective, Stylish, Well Ventilated Best Uses: Downhill, Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's so light weight and comfortable that after a minute you don't realize you're wearing a helmet. We read the reviews first and decided to get one size larger. A "large" fits us perfect even though we're really a "medium". There are no size adjustments on this helmet. Plenty of adjustable and removable vents for skiing in all temperatures.
