But they're cute -- the color is deep enough that they don't stand out as having a purple-ish hue unless you're wearing something purple, and then they suddenly pick up that tone and look smashing. I'm keeping them, because with discounts they were dirt cheap. I'll get some use out of them, they'll be worth more than I paid, that's for sure.

Well made; deep purple tools like a dark brown. Only minor drawback is the buckle entry.

The boots are a lovely color, which is a bonus. The first time I wore them, I wore them all day.

They're cute, but very impractical due to this design flaw. I will be returning them.
