Had to open shoe buckle all the way and then I couldn't buckle it back up a lot. Hit the top of my foot at the ankle bone. Just wasn't a good fit for my foot.

I considered taking them to a shoemaker to see about a possible Velcro closing or other alternative, but by the time I paid for the re-engineering, I could have bought boots that I can get on and off that are less clunky. They almost work, but not quite, especially not for traveling through airports.
