Korkers Konvertible wading boots By rxflyfisher from Westminster, MD and the world on 03/03/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy to lace, Good Grip, Lightweight, Soles switch so easily Cons: Collects weeds seeds Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are the best wading boots I have ever owned, bar none. The interchangeable soles are a real plus and they are easy to change. The only drawback I have noticed is their tendency to gather seeds and debris in the nooks and crannies around the lacing. After many hours of wear, the rubber began to separate around the toe. I fixed this with shoe goo but it really should not have happened. I am always concerned about carrying plant and critter to another stream. You must be careful with any boot but this boot makes it easy to use one set of soles in one river (country) and then replace them without throwing out the entire boot. Since I wore these in NZ, I just got several pairs of soles and interchange them between river.

By Dougie from Italy on 01/31/2008 Pros: 3 years regular use, Comfortable, Dries Easily, Durable, Good Grip, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Regular use fly fishing about 2 or 3 times a week all year and all day. Very comfortable. First pair lasted 3 years, and still not finished. I love the changeable soles, and this makes the boots last much longer as the soles always wear-out first. When changing them, just make sure you clean-out all sand/dirt etc. from the grooves where you slide the soles in, and you won't have any trouble. The felt is 1st class & the cleated felt soles are wonderful. I'm about to try the aqua stealth w/cleats for the first time this season on the river. I use the "heck" out of them. From now one, I'll only buy Korkers! Images shared by: DougieNymph fishing Volturno River, Italy
