By Reel Woman from North Adams, MA on 06/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Grip Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are comfortable with good grip. I did change out the soles just to see how they worked but have not used the hiking soles yet as I am usually in the water. I got these because I usually wet wade but wanted a boot that I could also use with stocking foot waders. The problem is that the sizing is really street shoe....I would go a size larger to wear exclusively with waders that have a neoprene sock.
1 sole for the hike, 1 sole for fishing! By 45fisher from VA on 06/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Easily, Durable, Good Grip, Lightweight Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for wet wading without waders, so I got them to fit me without waders. One size smaller then my wading size.
Not as good as a stand alone hiking or wading boot, but if you got that long hike into a secluded fishing area and don't want to carry 2 pairs of boots. This is the ticket! After a 2 mile hike down to a stream, a change to the cleated soles for 4 hrs of wet wading and flyfishing, change back for the hike out, 2 miles up and out...sore legs, but No blisters. This is the way to go!
The cleated soles are not provide but can be purchased from Korkers. Make sure you get the orignial 'Wetlands K7300' version.
TOO wide and big for most women By Rocky Mt. High from Western U.S. on 05/27/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Disappointed that unisex boots are too large for a woman's foot. Too wide and large even with heavy wool socks. Would have been great.

By Chef Boy from Pennsylvania on 03/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Easily, Durable, Good Grip, Lightweight Best Uses: Light hiking, Multipurpose, Wet wading in summer Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for my daughter who loves to fish and hike. She can do both with these shoes. They have 2 sets of interchangeable grips for the bottom of the shoe- one felt, for fishing etc. and one tough rubber sole for hiking. The shoes dry quick so you can do both in the same day!
By Bjortelino from Vaxjo, Sweden on 03/19/2009 Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For the money - everything you could expect. I have a feeling they will wear out rather quickly but for the money I spent, that would be OK. (And maybe they won´t!)
Great comfort and function all in one. By Field Hawk from Kansas City, MO on 02/25/2009 Pros: Changeable soles, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Fly Fishing, WorkStream Assessments Describe Yourself: Professional Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my first pair of wading boots. I do field surveys in and around streams and need to go in and out of water. These worked great for hiking into the streams and doing my work.
The boots were a little snug when first put on with my waders but, after walking around a little and then getting them wet, I felt like I had slippers on they were so comfortable.
