korkers are real korkers!! By FROGHAIR from ARLINGTON, TX on 05/16/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Easily, Durable, Good Grip, Lightweight Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: JUST ONE TIME OUT, BUT BOOTS SEEM SUBSTANTIAL. THE BOOTS CAME WITH A FELT INSOLE INSTALLED AND I CHANGED IT TO THE RUBBER INSOLE FOR WALKING. FISHING WAS SLOW, BUT THE BOOTS HELD UP THEIR END OF THE BARGAIN.
2 years old and still going. By Slimy Skate ~> from somewhere in south shore L.I. , NY on 05/15/2008 Cons: Carbide Studs wear quick, Wears Easily Best Uses: BeachBackbayJetty Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I brought them so I can change from rubber sole to the optional $30 rubber carbide studded sole after hiking to jetties for surf fishing. It was light and I didn't have to carry another [$] pair of Korker sandal(heavy and bulky)to wear over my shoes. Make sure you clean out the grooves (sand/etc.)before you switch soles. The rubber soles held up good after 2yrs. Studded soles, decent grip for 14 Carbide studs per sole. However they wear very quickly and should be checked and replaced as needed. On my second set of studded soles. $30 or you can buy replacement studs pack of 10 = $6-8, you'll need 3 packs and a wrench.Haven't used the felt sole yet. I'm surprised that the Wetland boot has held up to the abuse on the saltwater, sand and jetty rocks.Lacks a fitted removeable insole.
I would buy these again!!! By Fishing guy from Farmington, NM on 04/20/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Grip, Lightweight Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I fish in Co. and NM where the rocks are slippery and these do a great job gripping the rocks and with the interchangeable soles I can put on the lug sole hike in to the river and then change to the felt. Great boots and a great price!!!
By The Kurgan from Sacramento, CA on 04/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Beginner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear a size 13 tennis shoe and I ordered a size 13 in this boot. I was worried they may not fit over my wader socks, but that fear was unfounded. They fit perfectly. They came with felt soles and a "regular" sole you can put in to use out of the water. The soles are a little tough to swap, but the soles fit well and I highly doubt they are going to slip out.

Work better than expected By E from Boulder, CO on 04/14/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Grip Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these for my wife and we have used them twice so far. One in a very muddy WI stream and once in a classic mossy rock Colorado river. The felt grip kept her on her feet well, and even though I was skeptical of the sole interchange system, so far it has help up just fine and we haven't had any problems with it coming loose.
By Scianops oscellatus from Corpus Christi, TX on 03/30/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Previous reviews from other customers have stated that the sizing was not correct. I decided to order a 12 and I normally wear a 10.5 to 11. The 12 were too big so I believe the sizing is correct [...].
By Jun from Stockton, CA on 03/22/2008 Pros: changeable soles great, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great boots, but need 2 sizes larger for men, I know three others that had to order 2 sizes larger than normal. Normally order one size larger due to waders, but Korker mens, you need 2 sizes larger.
