By sno-woman from ohio on 01/19/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, High-end shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are so cute. I bought them to take my dog outside. The rubber isn't sturdy enough to put them on in a hurry. So I had to send them back.
By kschnee from Bethesda, MD on 12/29/2007 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The rubber is very soft, and the arch is extremely high, making them too wide/sloppy for my feet. Too bad - I thought they were exactly what I was looking for!
By ShoeMan from Austin, TX on 12/22/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Stain Resistant, Warm Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these in the garden, and they are great!!
Nice pad in the sole and lined with cloth.
However, they do not breathe as they are waterproof, and my feet sweat. They are good for keeping feet dry and are the most comfortable shoes to wear for yardwork aside from sneakers
which become too wet....enjoy!
By Susan from Tillson, NY on 12/11/2007 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't been out with them in the rain yet, but they look and feel great so far.
By Green 2 from Portland, Oregon on 12/05/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Waterproof Cons: Doesn't breathe well Best Uses: walking the dog, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, really practical Sizing: Feels full size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I knew these ran big, and so I ordered a 39 when I normally wear a 40. They are a little wide in the foot, and that is great because I have a wide foot, and so they fit perfect. I wear them to walk our dog in the mornings, when the grass is covered with dew and fresh rain. They are comfortable, dry, and cute. I bought one each in red and yellow. They also look good with my red and yellow Birdie Pal umbrellas I bought [...]
By Zoe from Rhode Island on 10/30/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Travel, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, High-end shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The Crocus line may feel too large to women when trying on with bare feet. The fit is perfect if wearing with warm socks, especially in cold weather. The width is also ample, and my feet are on the wider side. I wear an 8.5 wide American womens shoe, and the European 40 is perfect.
By Kim from Central NY State on 09/21/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Bargain shopper, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels full size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got these shoes to work around animals in wet conditions. Ordered 3 pair: one for myself and two for friends. They are comfortable and keep feet dry - assume they are also easy to keep clean. Only problem was that they were at least one size too big (for women) so returned one pair and exchanged the others among ourselves. Great buy for the price.
I would buy this product again By Wes from Ford Cliff ,PA on 09/14/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Great Cushioning Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great gardening or walking shoe
By no name from Tx on 09/13/2007 Pros: Great Cushioning, Think they will work out Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I think these are gone to be good for working outside in.
Le Chameau Crocus means don't buy these By Sanilac County Princess from Michigan's Thumb on 09/11/2007 Cons: Flimsy, Poor Cushioning, Wears Out Quickly Best Uses: Wear only in France Describe Yourself: Casual, Conservative, Stylish, Value minded Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These slip ons are probably waterproof - I'll say that much for them. But I sent them back as they were just to flimsy for my taste. Minimal support, little cushioning, rubber was to soft and they seemed to run large. Even with socks I couldn't imagaine wearing these to do gardening. I just need something to keep my feet dry in the morning out to the barn or down to the road to get the paper. I expected something a little more substantial - my advice is to skip these altogether.
