The result is a sweaty foot after wearing them for awhiile. Out of the box the material or compounds used in the manufacturing process emitted a strong odor of some industrial chemical; that seems to have gradually disappeared.

This is the second pair and when these wear out, I'll buy a 3rd if they are still available.
