She LOVES them and even takes them with her when she travels. They seem like a great year round slipper. Now I get to wear my slippers, again!
beautfiul and warm with no sweat! By Love People from Rutland, Vt on 05/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging, Outdoors Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are exactly what my feet need. I cannot wear micro fleece on my feet. I have arthritis and skin sensitivity due to Raynuad's disorder. The boiled wool is perfect with a thin pair of cotton socks. I order a whole size up to get the best slipper fit for me!
Acorn products proven performers By patty2talk from Pittsburgh, PA on 05/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Sole, Warm Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging, Traveling Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been well-satisfied with the Acorn products I've purchased here--from a pair of waterproof walking shoes to numerous pairs of slippers. These were offered at an especially tempting price. They'll replace a similarly-styled and recently-retired pair of travel slippers. A treat to slip into after a day of sightseeing!

By AK Pro from Southeast Alaska on 05/26/2009 Cons: Fall Off Easily, Too Stiff, Ugly, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are long and skinny - narrow and low arched. It was hard to get my foot into them, and they fell off easily. The whole time I walked in them I felt I had to strain to keep them on. They're also very ugly.

Good sturdy soles.
By comfortgirl from Sierra Foothills, CA on 05/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Soft Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are my third pair of this particular Acorn. They are so comfortable for around the house, easy slip on, socks or no socks. Also, the soul is good enough to go down the driveway to get the paper, etc.
By Grasshopper from Syracuse, NY on 05/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Acorn somehow managed to create a slipper with an amazingly comfortable cushiony feel plus a somewhat firm sole. So they aren't floppy and they aren't too hard. Perfect. Plus I like the look of boiled wool so they look very nice too.
By The Purple Professor from Portland, ME on 04/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Sole, Warm Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These slippers are comfortable and reasonably attractive. Other reviewers mentioned the back not coming up high enough. They are right, the slippers do tend to fall off sometimes as a result. This was not enough of a problem to cause me to return them, however. They are of high quality and will clearly wear well. They are basically OK but not great.
