My foot fit fine except when I walked it would slip out and my heel ended up smashing the back lip. I exchanged it for the medium and it's fine. It took me a little while to get use to that lip on the back. I love the sturdy soles as I have a tendency to walk outdoors with my slippers.

I can't say that they've "lasted" yet, as I've only had them 2 days, but they seem so much more durable that i have high hopes.
