By Sonnydaug from Boulder, CO on 12/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Sole, Warm Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A tight for me as I was on the large end of this size (7.5). It would be nice if there were more size options. I can only where these without socks, but they are very warm and cushy.
Very warm and comfortable! By Acorn Lover from Sandy Hook, CT on 12/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Sole, Nice to slip on in am, Soft, Warm Cons: Back is a little shallow Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love slipping these on in a.m. My feet get really cold and with socks for extra warmth these are great. I can even go out to get the paper in these. overall, a great slipper. My only complaint is that the back is a little shallow, so my foot slips out now and then.
I am a return buyer of these slippers By vm from western michigan area on 11/30/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Sole, Warm Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear them as soon as I come indoors and occasionally outside also.
Boiled Wool Slippers by Acorn By Erica the Red from Provo, Ut on 11/26/2008 Cons: Fall Off Easily, Not soft nor really warm, Too Stiff, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I mostly use these slippers at night. As I have had a stroke, which paralyzed my left side, I need slippers that I can slide my left foot into and that will stay on as I walk. I have found that slippers with a short stiff lip at the back will stay on, if I can slide my foot into it.
So awesome I bought a second pair By Jamie from Flagstaff, AZ on 11/25/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I take that back, I ended up buying three pairs of these slippers total. Once I got them and realized how comfy and warm they are, I sent my mom a pair for her birthday (and she loved them too).
Then I started taking them climbing with me - I usually wear flip flops around the climbing area to avoid having to re-lace my boots constantly, but with colder weather, these slippers were a much better fit for the job (durable sole, warm, comfy). When I realized that I would be doing this a lot, I bought another pair for just in the house since the outside ones (quite obviously) were getting dirty pretty fast.
My house is really cold (bad insulation under the house and all hardwood floors, plus really cold weather) and these are the best slippers I've owned since the fantastic wool slippers I bought in Mongolia fell apart (it gets WAY colder there, so those slippers were extremely toasty). I plan on having at least a pair or two of acorn boiled wool slippers on hand at all times from now on.

Was looking for a comfy, stylish (for me) slipper and this is it.
These are very comfy slippers! By Liz the Runner from Normal, IL on 11/24/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like these slippers very much. They are a little small even though I ordered a large size, but they are working out without socks. The little back takes getting used to, unlike the slippers with a full back or no back.

I would not buy this product again By sore feet from Missouri on 11/21/2008 Cons: Fall Off Easily, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I would return these if I had other slippers to wear; I didn't think I could return them after wearing a week or 2!
By KC from Virginia on 11/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Cons: Scuffs leave black marks Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These slippers are SO comfortable! They are super warm, cute and a great buy. The only small downside is that if you scuff your feet, the black sole leaves marks on lineoleum. I really like these slippers - they are typical of Acorn quality.
