By Getting ready for Winter from Anchorage,Alaska on 10/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Sole, Soft Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These slippers are well made quite stylish, could almost use as shoes. Very soft leather, not as warm as expected. Overall a good buy.
By yogabear from Fort Lauderdale, FL on 10/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging, Outdoors Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shoe does not come in half-sizes, so I went with the size 7 (I am a 7 1/2 ). It fits well, sizing up to an 8 would have been too large.
I like that the sole accommodates both indoor and outdoor wear.

Forgot to change to regular shoes when I left the house and wore them half the day shopping. Looked good and felt great--and no one knew the difference!
Very comfortable but not breathable By Chepeta from Palo Alto, CA on 04/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging, Outdoors Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The lining is not made of a breathable material. My feet sweet too much.
Gorgeous but tight across instep (top) By Meig from Baltimore, MD on 03/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are absolutely adorable and exactly what I was looking for. The price is spot-on because there are two flaws mentioned by a previous reviewer: the footbed is terry and not removable, so it does get dirty (I just make sure my feet are always clean when I put them on, but they are getting dirty, I guess I will try to spot clean) but the biggest issue is that they are tight across the top. On me, the left one cut into the skin across the top of my foot, the right one didn't cut in but was tight. I loved them so much and wanted to wear them so much that I wet the tops with alcohol and water and then stuffed the entire toebox up to the top with magazine pages wadded up, and I mean really stuffed the wads in there. I did this for a few days, every time I wetted I stuffed additional wads in and eventually the top stretched enough that now they don't cut into the top of my feet. (The left one especially.) Now I live in them when I'm home and a bonus is that they've actually made my feet softer and my heels especially-not cracked anymore!

By popplehill from WI on 03/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Sole, Elasticized back, Lightweight, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Home, Lounging, Outdoors Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted a slipper that would be comfy and not wear out quickly - I think I finally found it! The lining is soft and just warm enough. I've mostly worn them inside, but have stepped out with them enough to know they are going to be very durable for my needs. Very easy to get on and off and the elasticized back is a great plus! They seem to run just a little big, as I normally take a size 8 1/2 and the size 8 is plenty big for me. Since they are only offered in whole sizes, I am very glad that I ordered down. Overall, a great deal on a wonderful product!
Good slippers for the sale price By grosse pointe consumer from grosse pointe, mi on 03/02/2009 Pros: Durable Sole, Elastic at heel is great, Soft, Warm Cons: Cut down leather at top, Leather too high at top, Too tight across top Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are comfortable slippers and when on sale are a good deal. There are two main problems: 1) the lining is terry cloth and will eventually become very soiled since it is glued in and does not come out for washings. 2) When first worn, the slippers are too tight across the top because the the leather rises up too high across the top of the foot. The design should be cut farther down toward the toe or have give on either side of the leather piece at the top. Wear with socks until they stretch and then they can be worn without the socks.
