This is a classic design at an extremely good price. The style runs 1/2 size too large, but with Sierra's no-hassle exchange policy, getting a replacement in the right size was easy.

Comfortable and Practical By Dave from Humble, TX on 05/04/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Breathes Well, Classic Design, Comfortable, Durable, Well Made Best Uses: Business Casual, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, High-end shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I can't believe that Trask has quit making these shoes. I have bought many pairs during the past several years in brown and black. Add the penny loafer style of the same shoe in brown and black and these 4 shoes were my mainstay. I just ordered 3 pairs of what was left in my size. Hopefully trask will reinstate these great, very comfortable and durable rubber sole shoes.
By Chigger from Sanger, TX on 04/21/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Well Made Best Uses: Business Casual Describe Yourself: Conservative Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Initially bought my usual size, had to return for half size larger. These shoes are typical of Trask--well made, nice bison leather, and a little stiff out of the box. Great value at STP prices.
By LOR Frodo #1 fan from Alabama on 03/11/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Well Made Cons: Too Stiff, Uncomfortable Best Uses: Business Casual Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I am disappointed this shoe was so stiff and narrow. It is a great looking shoe and seems well made, but it is just too tight for my feet--even though I went a half size larger. I also ordered two moccasin style Trasks, which are very comfortable and are "keepers". I think this style is just not for everyone; maybe that's why they are discontinued.
By David from Grand Rapids, Michigan on 03/04/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Well Made Cons: Needs Break In, Total synthetic soles Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, High-end shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ordered these shoes and the first pair seemed to be mis-sized: the left was fitting like the "10" I ordered, the right more like a "9.5". I chatted with a STP rep, had a new pair off to my home the next day (outstanding cust. svc as expected!), and this new pair is fine. A little breaking in was necessary (not so with the first pair of shoes I order from this quality company). They look great, are of the workmanship I would expect for a pair of shoes originally price around $175, and overall seem excellent. Didn't rate them a 5 as I've only warn them a couple of times, and my feet prefer some leather outsoles for breathability, and these have a 100% synthetic. Overall, very pleased.

Trask shoes are the only brand I wear because they are durable and look great.

Fits small for size - order larger size By John from Boston, MA on 02/04/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Well Made Best Uses: Business Casual, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: good shoe, but width is way too narrow.
