Would have just ordered a larger size if it were available.

She wears a 7.5 and the 8s fit perfectly so for half sizes, order up to the next size.
By mountain woman from upstate, ny on 01/01/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: very cute and comfy if you get 1-1 1/2 sizes larger than normal. very small. a little tight if you have high arches like me, across the top of the foot-seems to be a problem with acorn, and lots of shoes in general that dont adjust enough for people with arches. but, they stretch a little and i got 1 1/2 sizes larger than normal so they are pretty comfy-not for long walks but good for going out if you wont be walking too much. then again i only wear boots, sneakers or comfy sport sandals to walk anyway. for people with less sensitive feet they probably would be super comfy.

I wear 6.5 in some shoes but bought a size 7.

I removed the insole and replaced it with a thinner one and they feel much better - although there is still a little bit of slipping at the heel. I think they do run small, but had taken Sierra's advice and ordered larger, so they do fit.

However, they were obviously a size too small. Despite being too small, there is no space for your heel to fit into, thus my foot kept feeling like it was slipping out of the shoe. And my heel kept rubbing against the excessively hard back of the shoe. Finally I tried these on with white socks that turned black immediately and I cannot get the stain out. I have returned these.
