It takes away space my foot needs! I may replace it with a thinner but higher density insole if it does not compress with wear.

Comfy, practical and very sweet shoe! The "wrap" design over the top of the foot is snug, but does loosen a bit as the shoe is worn. It definately is not a loose shoe. Your foot is kept warm and dry.
the picture suggests that the toe bed is a bit "birkie-like" in design/wideth but the toe area is rather narrow, not wide.

Although, not quite as clutzy looking as some others. I needed a new pair of these everyday shoes and these do just fine. Look good with jeans or corduroy slacks. Comfortable. I bought red suede, it's nice.

I thought they would be a little more rugged. They don't really have any treads and they are long on top, so my foot looks a little distorted. They seem really comfortable, but over time my heels would slip out of the back and develop blisters. I was intending them for the dog park, quick walks around the block or to the grocery, but I can't wear them long enough.

They look cute for casual wear and the colors are great. Unlike some other shoppers, I could have lived with the the slight tightness across the instep, but I couldn't live with the fact that they had no walking comfort for me. Kind of a dead feel as I walked. My feet felt tired in them after just a few steps. Unfortunately, I returned all three pairs I ordered.

I walk alot and sit a little. The rear entry feels large like I may slip in/out easily. The insole is thick. May remove insole to increase depth and change fit.
