great trail running shoes By The Woman Who Runs from Durango, CO on 07/15/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction Cons: A bit heavy for a running Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are perfect for me for trail running; good flex fore and aft and good stability side to side. I took them out of the box and did a six mile trail run and my feet were happy! I weigh less than 100 Lbs., however, so a big person might find these shoes a bit wimpy for trail running. They are a nice grey color that won't show the dirt.

By nature mom from boston on 06/02/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My son picked these out, he's in between kid sizes and men's. We've have good luck with Vasque shoes, great quality and fit. However, he has a wide foot and was not able to get the shoe on due to the fact that the tongue is attached on the sides to the shoe.
This is my 4th pair of Vasque trail shoe By Auburn Liz from Auburn, CA on 05/19/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction Best Uses: Pavement, Track, Trails Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are my 4th pair of trail shoes from Vasque. I like these shoes because they are a little on the stiff side and once broken in make my feet feel protected and comfortable. I walk on trails and need the extra protection.
By ski feet from MT on 05/16/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The 9 was too short, the 9.5 waaayyy too big, made my feet look like skis & they don't need any help in that department. Also I have narrow feet and when I tightened the laces to where they were comfortable, the shoes looked pretty dumb. They're going back, again.
No Support with this Shoe By BC from Fayetteville, TN on 05/16/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This shoe was made of mostly mesh so there was no support when I put the shoe on. Some people may like this feeling but I did not. This would not be a good shoe to wear when it is raining, your feet would get very wet!
By Shoppin in AZ from Phoenix on 05/15/2008 Pros: Good Traction, Lightweight Best Uses: Pavement, Trails Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I liked the shoe but it was too hard to get on and off with the funny wings on entry. I sent this one back and got the men's version which was easier to get into.
By Jess The Scientist from Raleigh, NC on 05/12/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight Best Uses: Pavement, Trails, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I run on grass, mud, and pavement with these. I am flat-footed and tend to over-pronate. I've been running with Vasque trail running shoes for the last 4 years. They always fit well and have great support and traction. These are no exception. Since they were half off, I bought two pairs. I love them. These shoes in particular are very breathable and have a wider and slightly taller tongue, which is a nice feature.
By CycleOps Power Girl from Silver Lake, OHIO on 04/13/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Fast, Good Traction, Lightweight Best Uses: Trails, Wet Conditions, Winter Conditions Describe Yourself: Professional Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Trail running in any conditions, or hiking, these are fabulous. It's my second pair!
grippy breathable trail shoe By bawlmerhon from Baltimore, MD on 04/08/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Supports outside of foot Cons: Not for an overpronator Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great support on the outside of the foot and good traction on trails, breathable and lightweight, definitely does not supply much arch support. Overpronators should buy another shoe or supply your own insoles.
