Comfortable, although just a tad tight in the toe (nothing that would make my feet hurt or make me not wear them). I definitely wouldn't say they run big, as several others have. I pretty much ALWAYS wear a 7 1/2; that's what I ordered and it fits fine.

They are lovely shoes, but I wish I had ordered my normal size (size 8.5).
