Sierra's sizing is inaccurate for European sizes. The 36 in this shoe equals a US 6.
By shel from pittsburgh on 12/15/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I always purchase 38's in Seibel shoes, but this shoe was about a 1/2 size too big. I was disappointed to return them.

By Walking Europe from American based in Latvia on 11/01/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Excellent footbed Best Uses: Casual Wear, Casual work, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear these shoes with jeans and casual slacks. They are very comfortable and very well made. I have plantar fasciitis so I need a great arch support and a well crafted interior - these shoes deliver. I can walk for hours when traveling. The down side is, the zipper comes unzipped ALL the time which gets very annoying. The suede top makes them look casual but they have a classic design. I get compliments all the time!
By Kathy from Pleasantville, NY on 06/12/2008 Cons: Doesn, doesn't seem like a Seibe Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: [...] They are too big, especially around the ankle and slip off. They seem at least a half size too big, if not a whole size too big. Doesn't seem to fit the Joseph Seibel quality that I'm used to.

By Tellurian from Bar Harbor, Maine on 05/06/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Sharp looking, Supportive Best Uses: Casual Wear, city walking, Travel, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Alternative, Casual, Eurofan Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought these to replace a pair of similarly-styled Rieker shoes on which the soles had worn through. Loved them, but they have been discontinued. These shoes have much cushier soles and provide more support. Style is a little clunkier, but still sharp enough. They are comfortable enough for all day on your feet wear and provide plenty of shock absorbtion for walking on pavement or stone. It's a bonus that the leather is waterproof. Great toebox - big enough to wiggle in, but not so large as to be awkward. The zippers are a bit noisy while walking, but I am hoping they will wear longer than shoes with only elastic gores for on and off give. Will pair these with slacks for work, travel and errands.
