By Landa from Toms River, NJ on 01/24/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, wide toe box Best Uses: Trails, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I need running shoes that offer wide widths but sometimes with this you end up getting too much heel movement. This becomes a more noticable problem with trail running shoes due to having stiffer soles. This is the first shoe that actually had a big toebox, but little, if any, heel slippage. It's stiff enough to take on some moderate rocky trails without feeling it, but still feels flexible enough where I don't feel like I'm wearing tennis shoes.

I hit the treadmill and sidewalk everyday. I walk really hard so these shoes are really getting a workout.

By Mq from St.Louis, MO on 01/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight Best Uses: Pavement, Trails Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my first pair of New balance and also my first size 6 shoes. I usually wear 5, but after reading reviews, I ordered size 5.5 (narrow) which turned out to be too small. I exchanged for size 6 (narrow) and this pair perfectly fits. It is a nice feeling to know that those shoes are made in USA. I hope they continue to make great shoes.

I usually just wear them all day to walk around in, and they're great then too. They have plenty of ventilation, because my feet tend to get really hot.
