Comments: I love the overall look and feel of these shoes. They are a little snug across the ball of my foot, but I have wide feet, and after one run, they seemed to loosen up. I would probably have ordered a half size bigger (7.5 vs. 7) if they had it.

Comments: I bought these to take on vacation with me. I thought taking real hiking boots were a bit too much and too heavy. I walked all over China with them and they worked out fine. I went to Las Vegas recently and lent my shoes to my sister. It started raining while we were walking down the strip in front of the Paris Casino. I noticed that she hydroplaned on the pavement in the heavy downpour. A lot of other people hydroplaned in front of the same casino as well. I was surprised since these shoes were supposed to have great traction. It could be that the casino sidewalk was made of material that can get slippery in the rain. (Rain is not a huge consideration in Vegas).

Comments: Every time I purchased an 11M, no matter the maker, the shoe would be wide enough but just barely too short, and my daughter would be the happy recipient. I decided to order the 11W and was pleased to find that my toes no longer felt pressed and packed anteriorly. So, if your size is coming up too short, order the wide. Worked for me.
You'd be hardpressed to find better!

The shoes are excellent... I'm running some pretty raw trails, rocky, covered in leaves and sticks. There's almost NO slip factor, the shoes are tight to the feet leaving you feeling very secure. I've had a slight problem with the back of one rubbing, and am experimenting with different lacing to see if that helps.
The shoes are, however, really well made. The laces stay tied. I'd recommend them, nice bounce, probably best for trails or track as opposed to pavement. :)
