Great other than that! Looking forward to many nights of comfort & warmth sleeping on my boat.
By SuyahmacBuyah from Freezing, Florida on 11/07/2008 Cons: Compression Sack Needed, Heavy, Zipper Snags Easily Best Uses: Car Camping, Cold Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We bought these for our four children when we were tent camping and they stayed toasty warm. We had to help them get all zipped up though because the zippers snag pretty easily. I would definitely say that they are great bags for the price. All in all I am glad we purchased them.
Warmth with great length! By SpeakerFreak from Hoboken, NJ on 07/01/2008 Pros: Adjustable Hood, LONG enough for tall ppl, Warm Best Uses: 3 Season Camping, Car Camping, Cold Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Being tall, I was looking for a bag long enough that would have enough room for me, and I found it in this bag. Definitely warm, and super comfy. The zipper got stuck a few times while pulling it up, but that's pretty normal for bags. Overall, I love it!
By AMB from Colorado on 05/12/2008 Cons: Compression Sack Needed, Heavy Best Uses: 3 Season Camping, Car Camping, Cold Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This bag is super warm and roomy. Very heavy and no compression sack, but for the price you could go buy one and it will pack better
It's about what I expected By Newbie mountaineer from Puyallup, WA on 03/25/2008 Pros: Adjustable Hood, Warm Cons: Compression Sack Needed, Heavy Best Uses: Cold Conditions, Snow Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I put the sleeping bag in the sack it came with and the thing was just as big as my backpack. So it's pretty massive, unless you get a compression bag (I got one). It's as heavy as they say it is which doesn't bother me because I would rather be tired and warm than a less tired and cold.
The main thing that bothers me is the zipper and that's more my own problem than it is theirs. So it's not a fool proof zipper but it's not a bad zipper either.
I would recomend this to a friend if they know how to use a zipper and don't mind the weight.
