It is lightweight, durable and expandable.

I love the interior pockets that allow me to organize ALL the things I carry. It allows for easy retrieval when everything is not in the bottom of the bag. The size small holds my wallet, check book, pens, makeup, two sets of glasses and camera with room left over for small purchases.It truely is easy on the back and the fabric is durable and easy to clean

After that I ordered my Ameribag, and I love it! No more danger of pulled muscles because it feels light, I can wear it easily across my body, and it hugs the body so it never swings around unbalanced. On the days I need to carry more stuff, this bag handles it, and on regular days I never feel it's too big to just carry my wallet/keys/cellphone/shopping bag. Some other reviewer said it's not big enough to carry a library book--I don't agree at all; it carries a standard size library hardback, although it won't fit a school textbook. Anyhow, I totally love this bag and it'll replace all other purses for me.

I use it for travel vacations to Mexico, Washington DC, Boston, etc. It has enough pockets to carry everything you need while out for an entire day of sightseeing and commuting, even an outside pocket for a bottle of water. The pockets are great for organizing and the straps are easily adjustable for a closer more secure fit on public transportation. It also has a place to fasten the extra small bag inside as additional security for your wallet and passport. The bag is very comfortable to carry tucked under your arm.

All of these concerns are addressed by the excellent design of the Ameribag. After using the small size for a week, I bought an extra small, too. No doubt I will add more to my collection in the future!
