Rollinfg High Sierra Duffel By Saintelias from Hot SPrings. SD on 10/21/2009 Pros: Easy to Transport, Large Capacity Cons: Bad zippers, Heavy, Weak Seems Best Uses: Airline Travel, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have had the 30" version of this for a couple of years. It is getting very worn so I needed a new one. For duffel needs I would go with the 30" not the 26" The 26" does not have enough capacity. For the price these duffels are good however they do wear out. I had to replace the zippers within a year and and I didn't bother with fixing the pocket zippers because of the cost. All the zippers will wear out or break within two years if you use the duffel on an average of once a month. They are nice because of the wheels for transport in airports. The nylon wears pretty quickly especially if doing a lot of airplane trips. I would view these duffels as "throaway"--Use them for a year or two and then buy a new one.
Good value for non-rugged travel By Adam from Charlotte, NC on 10/21/2009 Pros: Easy to Transport, Large Capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's a good bag, but don't expect it to last forever. I used one on 25-30 trips or so and it held up fine, but then experienced some issues with the seams and zipper at the end. I still feel it was worth the money- enough that I bought a second one. I like the flexibility- you can really shove a lot of stuff in there. And its reasonable weight too. I also didn't have any problems with the wheels.
So if you're a light traveler its a good option. If you need something for rugged travel or outdoor use, step up a notch or two and spend for better quality.
performed the job for which I bought it By the traveller from Tucson, AZ on 09/27/2009 Pros: Easy to Transport, Lightweight Best Uses: Airline Travel, Extended Travel, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very useful for a three week trip in Europe travelling by train, tram, and walking. Don't like the end pocket arrangement that takes up space in the main compartment. There was some slight abrasion of the material at the wheels end of the duffel. Great for getting on and off trains and up and down stairs.
Cant go wrong with this one By Aussie Traveller from Sydney, Australia on 08/24/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy to Transport, Large Capacity, Lightweight Cons: Lock friendly Zippers Best Uses: Airline Travel, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We just did a 3 day weekend trip for 2 adults 2 kids, with only one of these bags. Great traveller. Future improvement could be made in Zippers for locking ability, This is the only complaint, cant fault any other feature of the bag.
By Jadi from Sheridan WY on 08/24/2009 Pros: Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Airline Travel, Extended Travel, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like the duffel bag but the extension handle stuck right off the bat and then broke. It may have been bent. It is hard to transport without it.

By Gman from Phoenix, AZ on 08/21/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy to Transport, Large Capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Airline Travel, Extended Travel, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I frequently travel on short trips (3-6 days) and usually need to pack both tactical clothing and equipment for work, as well as casual clothing etc. The rolling duffel is just large enough to get a good week's worth of items, without being too large and bulky. The construction is fairly durable and the general quality of seams, zippers, and wheels are good. There are three zippered compartments which added some flexibility in packing. The rolling duffel held up well during airline travel and was perfect for my last work week trip. Plan on checking the bag at the airport, as I believe it is just a little large to carry on. I would definately recommend this bag as it is very nice for the price.

By Euromaniacs from Rhode Island on 08/11/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy to Transport, Large Capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Airline Travel, Extended Travel, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Each member of our family of four used one of these bags as we traveled around northern Europe for two weeks (via air and train) this summer. They were easy to transport on subways, trams, buses and escalators, and the various compartments offered a generous amount of space for our clothing and stuff. Definitely well worth the price!
