Great bag at fabulous price By traveler from New Jersey on 08/06/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy to Transport, Large Capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Airline Travel, Extended Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We took this bag on a trip to Morocco and Spain. I bought it because of it's size and light weight. This bag was on five planes, two trains, subways, multiple taxis and even strapped to a donkey and did great. We never quite filled it to capacity - it has big capacity for it's size.I returned a similar duffel luggage of same brand to [...] and ordered this one because the [...] bag was almost half the price.

By BPSLP from Central Florida on 08/04/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy to Transport, Large Capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Airline Travel, Extended Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used this bag on a month long trip to SE Asia. We boarded 9 different flights, many different boats, buses, trains, tuk-tuks, taxis, jumbos, and the bag did great! I was concerned about all of my belongings getting wet on a very long ride up the River Kwai in the rain in a small boat, but it did very well with only minimal wetness on top. I like the side pouches for wet and dirty items. The straps on the back came in very handy when I needed my hands for carrying other things and when traversing rough terrain. It was easy to lock as well. This bag will last a long time.

I'm about to pack it for a year of living in India and needed to go prepared for both professional and recreational travel - I think this will fit the bill!
By sutton place from New York City on 07/25/2009 Pros: Best I've seen, Durable, Easy to Transport, Large Capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Airline Travel, Extended Travel, Variety of travel types, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have used the gamut of roller bags for business and was looking for something for recreational travel. This is a great size for either weekend or up to a week's long trip. After shopping around, seeing all sizes and price points this is the best value I've found. Not too many pockets, don't go crazy wondering which zipper holds your carefully stashed toothbrush, but enough to separate clean vs dirty. Love the black.

A Bargain at Twice the Price By General Rotors from Alaska on 05/21/2009 Pros: Easy to Transport, Large Capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Airline Travel, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Professional Guide What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The rolling duffle was a mother's day gift, (flowers too ). Good for my wife, she can pack light, shoulder straps over ruff turf, wheels for the airport dash. Small enouigh to carry on yet big enough to check and protect your pocket knife from TSA.
The big discount made it seem like Sierra was giving it away but design and quality seem surprisingly good. Now to test it in the real world.
