By laxer34 from Chicago, IL on 05/18/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Good Arch Support, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: At The Beach, Casual Wear, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Alternative, Casual, Conservative, Stylish, Trendy Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very comfortable. The straps were stiff at first, but broke in right away. I really like the hard rubber sole vs a soft mush foam. I use these more on trail, camping and around town on the street vs. relaxing or at home where a softer flip flop is preferred.
Legendary Chaco Quality? Not so fast By K the avid outdoorsman from East Bay, CA on 05/12/2009 Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The Chaco name used to suggest a reliable well made product. Unfortunately, it appears that globalization has taken its toll. These sandals are not as well made as I expected. The sole is much more durable than your average flop, however, my webbing started to tear within a week of casual wear.

Great support, comfortable, and a very versatile sandal. Buy 'em, you won't be disappointed.
Need break-in period; fab arch support By Rockie from Tucson, AZ on 05/05/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Durable, Good Arch Support, Lightweight Cons: Strap Chafes, Straps initially snug Best Uses: At The Beach, Casual Wear, Weekend recreation Describe Yourself: Casual, Comfort oriented Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the arch support these flip-flops exhibit as I have a very high instep, but the straps are initially a bit snug on top of the foot and between the toes. Certainly with time they will stretch and become quite comfortable.
I am a size 11 in a woman's shoe and these mens' 9's seem to run a tiny bit shorter than I would have expected, but they still work for me. If you are on the larger side of a woman's 11, they would probably be too short.
Comfortable but slick footbed By M from Atlanta, GA on 04/28/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Good Arch Support Best Uses: At The Beach, Casual Wear Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It was a little stiff at first but quickly softened. The footbed is slick so not sure how it feel when wet. The arch support makes long term wear possible. Overall one if the more comfortable flip flops I have purchased.

I anticipate a long-lasting relationship with this flip! You can't go wrong to buy Chacos! They are [$]at REI and that's a bit out of my range. Thanks Sierra Trading for the great price! FYI: I'm a woman who wears a size 10N, I ordered these in Men's size 8 and they fit perfectly!

By Daniel from Austin, TX on 04/21/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Good Arch Support, Lightweight Best Uses: At The Beach, Casual Wear, Travel Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Chaco products seem to be going downhill a bit, they're a little bulkier and the soles wear more quickly than they used to. I wear them as my every day shoe without foot or back problems... these are the only flip flops I can get away with doing that. Great product, I hope Chaco goes back to a little higher quality like the previous generation products.
