Don't judge on initial comfort By EdistoBeach Bum from Columbia, SC on 08/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Arch Support Best Uses: At The Beach, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Casual, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I almost returned these, and would have, had I not owned previous pairs of Chaco products. The strap that goes between your toes will rub you terribly for a day or two, then it is gone, and you have an exceptioanally comfortable flip-flop, that actually has a little support to it. The upside is that they, like all Chaco products, will last forever.
These are the most uncomfortable things By Jeanne from Dudley, MA on 08/10/2009 Cons: Causes Blisters, No arch suppost, Slippery insole, Strap Chafes, Too Stiff Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These flip flops (thongs as we used to call them before thongs became something else) are absolutely terrible. They offer none of the qualities of Chaco's other sandals. See above rating. Don't even think of getting them.
By Pancake Nick from Outer Banks, NC on 08/07/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Out of the box these sandals look great. However once I put them on it felt as if I were skating on an oil slick. The deck (foot platform) offers no traction for your foot to grip on to. Consequently, I feel like I'm slipping and sliding all over the sandal. If the decks had some traction I would certainly have kept them.
By ricko from Billings, MT on 07/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Arch Support, Lightweight, Stylish Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear an 8-1/2 and ordered a 9 and it was way way too small. Not true to size at all!
By mountain mama from Corbett, Oregon on 07/17/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Good Arch Support, Lightweight, Stylish Cons: Chafes only a few days Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These run small. Normally an 8-8.5 women's; men's 8 fits perfectly. Great for people needing good arch support.
By ct from Naperville, IL on 07/12/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Good Arch Support, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: At The Beach, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Casual, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm answereing all the above questions for my husband based on his comments to me (and my understanding of who he is). He has seemed very reluctant to buy sandles, and certainly not flip flops, but these are the best. He loves them. I wish they had them in women's sizes (or maybe they did and I didn't see them). In any event I will look for them in women's sizes. I just read an article on how bad flip flops are for your feet (ankles, knees, legs, etc.), then at the end of the article it said that if you are going to wear flip flops the best ones would be: the #1 they mentioned was Chaco!
By Yoga Guy from Park City, Utah on 07/11/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Arch Support, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Alternative, Casual Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Even more comfortable than conventional Chaco flips.
By Mountain Momma from Western NC on 06/18/2009 Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These were for my hubby, and although he's only had them for a week, so far so good! We both LOVE Chaco's for their superior support. These flip-flops do run a little small and narrow compared to the traditional Chaco sandal.
Chaco Sandal fits man's foot! By Bob the Sandal Reviewer from Saint Louis, MO on 06/16/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Good Arch Support, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: At The Beach, Casual Wear Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Arch support and form fitting sole is the best part of the Chaco. I have very high arches and flat sandals aggravated my plantar fascitus (arch ligament strain). Toe strap does rub a little uncomfortable but I've only had the sandal for two weeks and can't say if the irritation is a result of not being broken in as of yet. I can already tell that this is a quality manufactured product.
