By Pool Gal from Eastern Washington on 07/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stylish Cons: Chafes, Needs Break-in Best Uses: Barbecues, Everyday Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The straps were just too tight for me. I think this sandal tends to run to the narrow side. If your feet are average or wide they probably won't work for you.

Fit perfectly. These flips have great foot support, heel and arch. No need to break in. Comfortable from first wearing.

pretty, but painful on wider feet . By laura from efland NC on 07/21/2009 Pros: Breathable, Cute, Durable, Stylish Cons: Chafes, Needs Break-in, Uncomfortable Best Uses: Lying down, Sitting Describe Yourself: Alternative, Casual Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Firstly, Chacos are my favorite shoes. I wear/live in a size 9 pair of ZX2's w/ Unaweep sole which fit me perfectly. I got a size 10 in these thongs and they cut/rub/tear into my feet at my arch. The wide band is either too wide or they are just too narrow for me. My feet are not wide, but they are not boney either. They look really nice and great arch support, so i will wear them when I plan to do almost no walking. I was nearly in tears after 2 hours of standing around, light walking in these. Chaco should make widths in their fashion shoes (like they do their performance kicks) if they are going to style sandals so narrowly. All that said if you've narrow feet, these would be PERFECT, not all floppy/noisy.

Great sole but a little tight sizing By Jennifer from Wilmington, DE on 07/21/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Cute, Stylish Cons: Chafes, Needs Break-in, Tight, Too Stiff Best Uses: Barbecues, Beach, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been wanting a pair of Chaco's for years upon several friend referrals and their cute look and very supportive footbed. I was THRILLED to see them here for such a great price. They arrived and the minute I put them on I thought, "Oh, this is going to take some getting used to" and 15 minutes later had blisters on both feet. I wear a 6.5 and ordered a 7. The length of the flop is fine but the actual nylon and leather straps are VERY tight on my foot. I've only ever had trouble with "height" on one pair of NB sneakers that were a narrow and apparently I'm a medium width but these were not narrows. I have since tried to stretch them out to make them fit because I love the way they look and the footbed support but I have to wear Band-Aids around my big toe and next toe and across the top of my foot in between the two toes to keep the chafing to a minimum. They are still pretty stiff but it's only been a week so I'll keep trying. Love the look and feel other than the tightness of the straps. Would recommend Chaco but to maybe try on a specific style before ordering just to be sure they fit YOUR foot correctly.
The fit of Chacos have changed. By Sad about Chacos from Columbus, OH on 07/21/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have owned a pair of Chacos for over 10 years that I love and I have never been able to find another pair that fits half as well. I acknowledge that the fit of the pair I own has changed with wear but all of the newer pairs are SO narrow, and I don't have particularly wide feet. This sandal was so narrow that my foot spilled over the sole and bulged past the strap, and I am a thin woman with average width feet and an admittedly low arch. I want Chacos to work for me, but they just don't anymore! The price and look is great but sadly, the fit continues to be disappointing and I had to return them.
Straps narrow, uncomfortable. By Loco Walker from Boulder CO on 07/17/2009 Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I've wanted to try out a shoe/sandal in the Chaco brand for a long time... unfortunately, I did not feel comfortable in them at all. The footbed was too narrow for my foot (I do not wear wide footwear in general), and all the straps were uncomfortable. It is a shame because they were very attractive!
