Inward angle that digs into your heel By Lp from FL on 07/31/2008 Cons: Heel is has inward angle, Uncomfortable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Alternative, Casual, Stylish, Trendy Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This shoe looks really cool, rans 1 whole size too small, so after the second try I got my size. Unfortuately, it has a bit of a strange angle construction in the heel.what should be been a 90 degree angle, it has a bit of a 15 degree angle that digs into your heel a bit. after a week in the shoe stretcher, it is much better, perphaps because I also have 1/2 of extra room on the shoe to play with, it makes things better. I am getting a heel insole as many of the reviews suggested, but I am definitively keeping them. [...]

By Barista Babe from Traverse City, MI on 07/10/2008 Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I read the other comments posted here and ordered a size up. I really like the shoes a lot, but I have been having trouble with the left one causing a blister on my heal. I used some moleskin and that is definitely helping. I would still recommend them though as they are very comfortable, even for standing all day like I do.
immediately gave my feet blisters By emmafriend from Oakland, CA on 06/23/2008 Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I found it unfortunate that I could not read a review, such as this, that would warn me shoes are small for the stated size. I doubt I will use them due to the size problem.
By Sha na na from Snohomish, WA on 06/01/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Stylish, Trendy Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was a bit intimidated after reading the reviews, but I'm really glad I got the shoes. I wore them around the house for about a week to make sure I liked them. At first, they did seem small, but now I love them.
Great shoe - but not fo my feet. By crazy 'bout shoes from Portland, Oregon on 05/28/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Really REALLY cute, Stable Cons: About a full size short, Too wide for narrow feet Best Uses: Casual Wear, Drss up or casual comfort, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Stylish, Trendy Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great shoes - cute, kinda quirky, comfortable and fun! I have narrow feet and these would be way too wide if I get them long enough. I have another pair of J41 shoes that are a half size smaller and fit perfectly. I had hoped these would fit the same.
By sb from washington, dc on 05/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Stable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: great shoes. heel was stiff at first but loosened up quickly. did have to return for a half size bigger
By shoeshoppingmaniac from Ohio on 05/01/2008 Pros: Cute, Durable, Stable, Versatile Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters, Uncomfortable Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great bc they can go with skirts, pants, or shorts - dress up or down. Alas they run small and pinch the achilles badly. I couldn't replace mine for a larger pair and was really bummed. I would recommend only if you don't have very wide feet and can get them in a size large enough for you.
By nawor from Florida on 04/29/2008 Describe Yourself: Alternative, Casual, Stylish, Trendy Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend I thought that I would really like this shoe, but it was too busy for me in the end. I am not sure that I like the strap configuration in the flesh!
I already have a pair of j-41s in a 7.5 and ordered three different styles from STP, sadly only one of them fits, my toes are pressing against the front in the other two pairs, this being one of them. These seem really wide too.
Perfect for Tibetan protest march By Lotus Flower's Mom from San Luis Obispo, CA on 04/20/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Sporty, Stable Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters, Very casual Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Alternative, Casual, Sporty, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really love this brand, but I was a little disappointed because the color of this pair was described as maroon and butter. I would say, they are more accurately colored: purple and mustard. They exactly match the Tibetan flag, which would be super handy if you were headed to a protest march against the Olympics in China, for instance. (I am not being disrespectful, as I am a practicing Buddhist, and these colors really do match the colors of robes most Tibetan Buddhist nuns and monks wear. ) It's just that I expected something more subtle and upscale, judging by the 3 other pairs of J 41s I own. These ARE cute, but they are pretty bright, so I'll probably restrict their wear to jeans and very casual events. Unless of course, I get that chance to protest locally, in which case, bring it on.
