However, I ordered this sandal first in size 9 and it was too small all around, then 9.5 and it was still too tight to walk in on my instep. I have high arches, but not that high... I really wanted to love it.

It is hard to believe it would work for anyone. I ignored the other reviews believing the cute factor would win out. They fit very odd and are impossible to walk in.

I thought they just needed to be broken in but I am going to have to have them professionally stretched to wear. I will do that because they really are that cute!

They have a "heavy" feel to them which would make walking uncomfortable. I was also concerned about the durability of the jute trim - some places already showed loosened trim. I wanted them for everyday and I was not confident they would hold up so I returned them.

I have sprayed them with water and am hoping that I can wear and stretch a bit. I really love the look so am planning to keep but will need to work to make them comfortable.

It takes getting used to the back and forth rocking motion when wearing it, especially down stairs. It's definately more stylish than a lot of their shoes. Feels a little narrow at first, but overall it's a cute shoe to wear with sundresses, capris, etc... Will take a little breaking in.

It is the overall "Earth" feel that I wasn't used to...but it didn't take long to adjust. They are cute and fun for summer!
