comfortable but not my fashion By no cows to milk from new mexico on 06/18/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Milking the cows Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: shoes were actually very comfortable. I ordered a half size up as recommended. I just couldn't get past the clunky, "big" look that made me think of something one might wear out to the barn to milk the cows.

sweet work shoe, but slippery sometimes By Alouitious from Madison, WI on 05/19/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Stable Cons: A bit strange for biking, Slippery on grass Best Uses: Casual Wear, Formal Events, Travel Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are some of the best shoes that I have ever owned for working, casual walking, and hanging out when it's still too cool for sandles. They are very comfortable, breathable and incredibly stable (while still quite soft and springy). The negative heel technology is pretty easy to get used to. The exeption is on bike pedals, where it feels a bit strange to be biking on the thick part of the sole. Also, the tread is really conservative and not good on grass - I fell down a bunch while chasing frisbees over noon hour.
One of the most breathable shoes By treehugger from Illinois on 05/07/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Stable Cons: Laces may wear quickly, Scuffs Easily Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is actually my second pair of these. I haven't worn out the first pair yet, but I have seismoiditis in my left foot and the negative heel formula is helpful. I find that it improves my back posture too.

I paid attention to the "Buy a half-size larger" note, and was glad I did so.

Most comfortable shoes I've ever owned By Rich the photographer from Buffalo, NY on 04/02/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Stain Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: After injuring my heel and Achilles tendon running a marathon last year, I've had a hard time finding footwear I'm really comfortable in. I do a lot of moving around for my job as a photographer, so these shoes have been wonderful for sports and the times I need to get through a crowd quickly.
The "negative heel" feel is interesting at first, but the shoe is no less cushioned in the heel strike area than other casual shoes I've owned. I found myself noticing the difference in feel for the first five minutes I has the shoes on, and now they feel like I've always worn shoes like this.
Another positive for me is the wide toe box. They feel a lot like my downhill clipless bike shoes in that sense, and I love letting my toes have some room.
