These shoes alleviate plantar faciitis By Jim the Astronomer from Borrego Springs, CA 92004 on 11/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As a long-time sufferer of Plantar Faciitis (sometimes call heel spurs), I tried Earth Shoes. Because the heel is lower than the toe, walking stretches the Achilles tendon. In my case this solved the PF. This is the fourth pair of Earth Shoes I have purchased from you and all have been great!

Husband's felt very comfortable breaking them in but feet did feel sore at the arch after hours of wear. Should've ordered normal size.

By sharspanxalot from new hope, mn on 05/31/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Follow STP direction and order up 1/2 size. These are pretty good, very aggressive tread. Looks very sturdy I think they will hold up to daily use in warehouse.
Excelent Stylle & Function By Comfort-Stepper from Buffalo, NY. on 05/17/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Looks Great, Sized Right, Stable, Well made Cons: Discontinued, Semi-Expensive Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, For work, Long walks, Short hikes, Travel, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I don't find that they run a half-size small, as is suggested when ordering... I can get by with these sized as they are but I believe not ordering them a half-size bigger will work better & have ordered another style @ my normal size & if they fit better may exchange these Colorado's for a half-size smaller, if they're still available.
I had a pair of Earth Shoes years ago & liked them back-in-the-day but they seem to be better made now-a-days albeit at quite a higher price than I normally spend for shoes.. Even with STP's low initial price, compared to other sources & the most recent models, & any combination of deals I manage from their "DealFlyer" or any other offers I get from STP, I rarely spend $50+ on shoes.
They are comfortable, even if there's a brief adjustment or initial getting used to them that is done because of the "Negative Heel" concept they employ... It's nothing serious to acclimate to & any adjustment made is done in the 1st step or two. I generally feel the "Negative Heel" does lessen leg & back stress when on your feet all day... I'll be keeping abreast of them here @ STP & surely will be buying more when these & the other pair I'm waiing on wear out, as long as STP keeps the prices low & the deals flying my way....
