Made for walking in the woods. By Tracylos from Springfield, OR on 06/15/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Stain Resistant, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Travel, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Alternative, Casual Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I walk the dog in the Oregon woods every day, and, as anyone knows who hes been here, it tends to rain. A lot. I needed a good, sturdy pair of slip-ons that would resist rain and mud. Smooth leather uppers are a must. Since my last pair of Dunhams(also purchased at Sierra Trading Post) had finally started to take in water after years of hard use, I needed a replacement pair, and these are perfect.
A little odd-looking, but comfortable By John from Maine from Portland, ME on 05/16/2008 Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I remember Earth Shoes from the early 70's, and hoped once again to get the postural benefits of wearing them. So far these new ones are just the ticket--I walk a couple of miles to work and back with ease and comfort. My wife thinks they're weird, but she thinks most of my shoes are weird!

By Steve from Eatontown, NJ on 05/05/2008 Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters, Too Stiff, Uncomfortable Best Uses: Around the house Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are very uncomfortable. In particular, the top part of the shoe near the back (at the top of the heel) bends inward. I realize this make for a tight fit but you can't work very far before feeling a blister starting to develop.
