I had to return them, however, because they were simply way too wide around my calves. The product description is misleading -- these boots are about 16 (not 14) inches in circumference, which is too wide for my calves. I am still looking for "skinny" boots to fit my calves. I highly recommend these boots for ladies with larger calves.

Having skinny but muscular calves, being a ballerina, I could not find any boots for a long time. I have ordered two pair of boots and I love them both.
If you have average calves these would be too tight for you. These are not for the average women. But if you are looking for a tight fit for smaller calves, there are perfect.
