I am not sure why it feels this way; I think it is because of the thicker sole under the toe. I am returning these shoes.

Also love the color accent to match my red bag. I won't be able to wear for marathon walking as the arch isn't strong enough for me.....the heel spur starts acting up.

It is a cute shoe and I wear it often, but not every day. Probably too narrow to insert a custom orthotic and the foot bed is glued to bottom of shoe.
