Feels a little bit on the wide side as far as the width is concerned, but I didn't have any problems with rubbing or hot spots and wore them two days in a row with a lot of walking. I did find the ball of my foot a little sore after all that walking and there doesn't seem to be a ton of cushion between one's foot and the pavement.

Fit seems to change little with laces tied and untied - no binding across top of foot and still with a stable fit. Very happy with shoes.
