By Caverrn from Prescott on 11/12/2009 Pros: Great Color, Stylish Best Uses: Special Occasions Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I read the other reviews and knew that this sweater would be shorter than most. I can't figure out how to wear it. It is too long to be a shrug, and too short to wear over another shirt in a way that looks good. Someone with more know-how could probably wear this just fine. I bought a sz L, and am usually a sz 12. It fit well, just a wierd length.

By School teacher from Boston, MA on 10/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Lightweight, Soft, Stylish, Versatile Cons: Accumulates Fuzz Balls Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This sweater has been great to wear to work. It is a little shorter than I like but it works for the style. The sleeves are a little long bit I like longer sleeves. It has a long wrap around belt on each side which I wouldn't have known from the picture. The pattern is beautiful as is the color.

By Gambel from Western Colorado on 09/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Soft, Stylish Cons: Accumulates Fuzz Balls Best Uses: Casual Wear, Night Out, Special Occasions, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a gorgeous sweater. The color is a great red but with some flecks of color woven in that add texture and interest. It is short--that is the style of the sweater, which is flattering on some people and doesn't work well for others. That means that the waistband is high, which works okay for me, but might not work for you, so be warned. I love the pattern of the knit, and the fabric is soft and cozy. It is elegant and flattering on the right person. The fabric is soft enough that I wore it over a tank top and was not itchy, even this early in the sweater season. It did develop some fuzz balls, but I think that is normal for a new sweater with this combination of fabric content. I have only worn it twice, so not sure if that will get worse. I have not washed it yet, but will definitely be careful with it. I am not sure why the description says "bell sleeves"--they are narrow and flattering, but I think of bell sleeves as getting wider at the wrist, and these definitely do not.
High in quality and style By Tudor Rose from Albuquerque, NM on 09/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Lightweight, Soft, Stylish, Versatile, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Works well with jeans and skirts. The flecks in the yarn means garment can be worn with many other colors.
By Bay Area Shopper from SF Bay Area on 06/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Lightweight, Soft, Stylish, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Night Out, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this sweater. The arms are not baggy (I think another reviewer said they were too tight- and I admit, they are snug), but I like that. I could not wear another sweater under this- but I wouldn't want to. I bought it to wear with blouses. It's very attractive, and I like that it is short waisted- since it shows off your waist- and that's flattering.
absolute disaster, keep away from this By gl from italy on 04/01/2009 Cons: Wash was a disaster, Washes Poorly Best Uses: Special Occasions Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: a simple hand made wash using only cold water and the sweater became a DOLL SWEATER .. . I'm absolutely angry ... I suppose there's an original factory defect!!!!
By LauraDee from Marietta, GA on 02/06/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking forward to this sweater and also bought the coordinating tank. At first glance, the yarns were marled with other colors, it was not pure red, which I did not realize or care for. But, the real problem was fit. The sweater was much too short and my bicep was too tight in the upper arm, which is weird because it is a sweater and should have plenty of stretch, but it didn't. Both items returned.
