Worked great on my int'l trip By rounddog from California on 08/11/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity Best Uses: Overseas carry-on, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Budget shopper, Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used this on a vacation to Malaysia. Bag performed like a champ and was exactly what I needed. The 22" size was perfect for some of the smaller overseas planes with limited luggage space. The larger compartment zips open entirely so packing was much easier unlike some bags that only allow you to load in from the top. Smaller bag worked great for items you want in-flight (books, jacket, music, etc.) since it still left you legroom.
Long term the zippers may be a concern, but not a problem on this trip.

By Susie from Dedham, MA on 07/24/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Easy To Identify, Good Capacity, High Quality, Int'l carry-on size, Lightweight but sturdy, Roomier than it appears Best Uses: Long Vacations, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought the bag for a lengthy European trip. With the backpack unzipped it's approved for international carry-on, which makes everything about traveling easier. The suitcase part fits so much more than you think - I had more than enough clothes packed in it.

A good advantage is the option to use the smaller day pack detached from the main unit for sightseeing activities. Also, the backpack meets airline carry-on size restrictions.
High Sierra Wheeled Backpack by High [...] By Megan from Pittsburgh, PA on 07/15/2009 Pros: Good Capacity, High Quality Describe Yourself: Student Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My daughter is using this to go to Nicaragua on a mission trip, it is the exact size we needed and at about 1/3 the price we saw this back pack at in other stores. The only issue we have had is that it is difficult to zip the day back pack back on once you get started it is fine, it is the getting started that is cumbersome
