By The Earl of Apison from Chattanooga, TN on 03/17/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy to Pack, Strong Zippers Best Uses: Airline Travel, Extended Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We already owned one of these - had carried it everywhere, including overseas. Needed a second duffel in a hurry - bought one locally. Bad idea.
On the OTHER bag (not this one), the first trip across the country, the plastic around the wheels broke, and the second trip, the handle jammed.
We took that bag back, and ordered ANOTHER High Sierra Rolling Duffel Bag -- and we are THRILLED!
This is a great duffel.

good value, missing a feature By McChris from Austin, TX on 02/18/2009 Best Uses: Airline Travel, Extended Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The picture of this bag is a little deceptive because unlike some competing products, it will not stand on end. This makes it somewhat less convenient than rolling duffels that will stand on end. Because it has to lay flat, you'll do a lot of swooping down to pick it up.
By CalWxGuy from Alexandria, VA on 02/03/2009 Best Uses: Airline Travel, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bag is well made an perfectic for cruise. Wish the site would tell customers if something was going on sale, bought one on sale. Searched for another but paid more. Then 2 weeks later back on the sale list...
By Eebooh from Ishpeming MI on 01/31/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy to Pack, Good Padding, Strong Zippers Best Uses: Airline Travel, Extended Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This will great when we fly and don't want to take extra bags. It is roomy enough to fit everything I'd need for an extended trip, and no more problems trying to haul a heavy bag through the airport. The handle and wheels are sturdy, and making airline connections in a large airport will no longer consist of frequent rest stops and back and shoulder aches.
Roll through most any trip. By Bonz from Grand Junction, CO on 01/19/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy Rolling, Easy to Pack Best Uses: Airline Travel, Extended Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fear no long lines waiting for ticketing nor bouncing boat boardings, this bag makes it easy.
Disappointed in fabric durablility By Mel from Wisconsin on 01/17/2009 Cons: Fabric ripped two trips Best Uses: Airline Travel, Extended Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I took this bag on two international trips where it was only taken from car to airport to lodging and then back again. When I returned home there were holes on the bottom and the top zipper flap looked worn and weakened on the inside just from being packed. Did not pack anything unusual. Very surprised the fabric was not more durable.
By squirm from Billings, MT on 01/11/2009 Pros: Easy to Pack, Good Padding Best Uses: Extended Travel, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Sturdy fabric, rolls well, and packs well. The only downfall is the less than encouraging zippers. Haven't ripped em yet, but I have to be careful with them.
