Not overly large, but functional when you don't need to pack a ridiculous amount of stuff. Just bought a replacement as the previous one managed to get torn in baggage handling by the airline.

Don't miss the drop-bottom. This is the more practical version, and passes airline size stds.
Pros:
Stylish, compartments are very useful for separation of gear & clothes. The size makes it very mobile. Lg. capacity w/ easy access. I use packing cubes to help w/ internal organization. I could travel for 2 wks. with this.
Cons:
Does not easily stand - no leg. Fabric rubs thru easily; not sure how easily it tears.

It was not overstuffed because the airlines have a 50 lb weight limit from where I travel. I really liked the bag initially even though wheeling is awkward and if you slide another small bag over the handle it has a tendency to flip sideways. Would not buy again
