By Janice from San Diego, CA on 04/14/2009 Pros: Durable, Large Capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Airline Travel, Extended Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: We ordered two for our upcoming trip to Europe. The one in blue was just fine but the other in green was a disaster. The smell was horrible. I tried everything to air it out but to no avail. Had to return it. I couldn't take the chance of a trip with clothes unwearable due to smell of travel bag!
By mike from Boomer Sooner on 04/11/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy to Transport, Large Capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Airline Travel, Extended Travel, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The was bought for a trip to Aruba. It held plenty of everything I didnt get close to filling it for a week but that mainly swimsuits etc. It has a large capacity and wheeled throught the airports with ease. Would rate higher but have only used it for that one trip.
A Great bag for today's traveler By rxflyfisher from Westminster, MD on 04/07/2009 Pros: Durable, Large Capacity, Very versatile Cons: Backpacking not possible Best Uses: Airline Travel, Extended Travel, Worldwide traveling Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We believe in minimalist traveling; however, when going to Alaska with variable weather in August, a larger bag is needed for all the layering clothes we will need. We bought the smaller size last summer. It was great for the Canadian Rockies, but not enough for this trip. A great bargain for very practical travel luggage. At less than 10 lbs these allow for a lot of "stuff" and yet be under the 50 lb limit.
Could use a little more "zip" By Been there from colorado on 03/25/2009 Pros: Easy to Pack, Good Padding Best Uses: Airline Travel, Extended Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the drop bottom concept and the size of this bag. Unfortunately the zippers are weak...so beware! I wish they could make it with a bit stronger material and more durable zippers. How difficult can that be???
Worth only the sale price By Tomb from Fl on 03/25/2009 Best Uses: Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Well designed but not well built. It is only worth the price if its on sale. I do have two others and they do roll well. The back pack straps are good for getting off and on boats (don't fall in) but they do not stand on the wheels. Good for maybe a dozen trips
Good Bag w/ GREAT Warranty By dwick from neptune beach, fl on 03/20/2009 Cons: Weak construction, Weak Zippers Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Sierra will always replace or return your money. we've had no luck keeping these from tearing, zippers breaking, etc. they seem to last approx. 3yrs. depending on use.

By CaptPete from Boston, MA on 03/11/2009 Cons: Substandard fabric, Weak Zippers Best Uses: Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is an excellent product for carrying in a car. The zippers and fabric do not stand up to airline travel.
Not built for the airlines By Arson from McKinleyville on 02/14/2009 Best Uses: Extended Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice bag for car travel, but does not stand up to the brutes that handle luggage at the airport. I have two of these bags and both were found torn at baggage claim after their second flight. I do, however, appreciate the versatility and would like a tougher version.
