By goingcanyoning! from Atlanta, GA on 02/07/2009 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Tight Closure Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this bag is massive! For the $ it's a great deal. I would not recommend it for a day trip or even a weekend trip. You need a raft to hold this thing. I bought it for a Canyon trip, so it is perfect to hold just about everything I am bringing.

By Duckhunter from Salinas, CA on 12/26/2008 Pros: Good Capacity, Strong Material, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a large capacity bag. It's more a waterproof bag, than a backpack. I can't imagine anyone could carry it very far if it was full. I use it for bulky stuff that doesn't fit well in small bags. I don't use the shoulder straps, instead I bungee the bag to a backpack frame. I use it for carrying my duck hunting gear a couple of miles into swampy area's. So far it's great for my needs. However, it's a little heavy at over 3 lbs dry.
The Large size is too large. By Old enough to know better from Seattle, WA on 11/08/2008 Pros: Good Capacity, Strong Material Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I own a medium bag already, but decided to buy the larger bag. I found the capacity is way more then I wanted. When more medium bags became available; I bought two more, because they are easier to handle.

By The Guppy from Pennsylvania on 07/07/2008 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Strong Material Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The capacity is excellent!...however, the system for closing the bag was hard to be confident in. It just felt insecure and sure enough it leaked a bit. It was a great bargain, but i'll spend a little extra next time.
