Pros:
Large Capacity, Secure Straps

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: Quite roomy and practical except for the top and side pockets which had stiff zippers and were hard to get into when the bag was full. Also, it would've been a plus if they had come with waterproof covers.

I have used these to run errands and they work very well. Super easy to mount and dismount, and the connection while on the bike is very solid. I will use them for some one and two-night tours later this summer and I expect they will perform well. I have not evaluated the waterproofness of these bags.
Very well assembled for the money, but the strap adjustments seem clunky and difficult.

Comments: Deuter make good packs in general and the panniers are in keeping with that general rule. The built in rain cover is handy and general design of the panniers is very good. Large capacity is important for me due to lack of water for long stretches of road where I cycle. Expect these to last for a longtime of hard wear.
