Comments: I bought this item for commuting to school with a bike and it has been perfect for that. Great ventilation and straps while riding a bike. There is an organizer section for pencils, phone, calculator, etc... and plenty of space for books and rain gear. I like the extendable pouch in the back as it is great for what it is there for... a helmet holder. I bought the red pack and it looks much better than the picture made it appear.

Comments: This pack lives up to the Mountain Hardware reputation for quality. The only thing I would change is the size of the water bottle holders. My 1.25 liter bottle falls out. I added carabiners to the side straps and hooked this to the bottle lid. This did the trick.

Comments: I just wanted a day pack and I got a whole lot more it is wonderful and my son is very excited ( I could not bear to return it so he got it.) I wound up buying another smaller pack at a local hiking store. This one has lots of room and pockets and everything else, it is just a bit much for a day pack on a short person.

Comments: I bought this backpack for school, travel, and day trips. I almost returned it but I am so glad that I did not. It is very comfortable. It also fits my laptop great (and I have a pretty large laptop). It has a lot of pockets which is also a plus. I'm not sure the Gila is the best use of 2000 cu in. It is a very long pack, which makes it more comfortable but not as easy to get a lot into it. Your space is definitely vertical. It is a pretty sweet looking pack though:)
